grant Aaron
grant Aaron wants to hit. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana,
he grew up surrounded by the soulful music of the culture-rich
Big Easy. But just as jazz and mambo-flavored funk crept into
him, the influence of Jeff Buckley, Bjork, and the depths
of electronic and world music challenged him to be more than
the standard singer/songwriter. With a biting voice forged
in church choirs and weathered in garage bands, and an agile
ear made nimble by variety, Aaron creates music for the mood.
And tells a story each listen.
